just wanted to post before i leave my house.

on this birthday, i wanna thank my parents for bringing me into this world with a smash =)) having a birthday on the 31st dec is definitely not common. lol. and i also wanna thank them for bringing me up in such an uncommon family, such an uncommon way. Thank you for providing me with the best life that you could, for giving me opportunities and chances that i would otherwise have missed. Thank you for trusting me. i really wouldnt want another family. and wouldnt want to have lived another way.

Ah mah, i’m all right now. =))

i just had egg mee sua for lunch. a tradition that i like cos the mee sua tt my mum cooks is mo tak teng. (tho i still miss my ah mah’s mee sua) lol. i’m finally in the 19 league!!! dont know to be happy or sad but im happy now. =))

new year cum birthday resolution:

1. *important* lose more weight (i think i have dropped onli by 1/2 inches)

i just took a few pictures of my cat this afternoon. shes having a lazy day. she didn’t leave the sofa until i fed it dinner!!! she was just sleeping. urgh. and shes been kinda crazy these few days. scratches n bites everyone lol.

yes thats true. tho i am still wondering how can taiwan earthquake affect SG network. lol. my game friend is complaining about not being able to log on into the game lol. am i supposed to say: heng ar! these few days always hafta go back school so no time to play games?? weird huh?

have watched Charlotte’s Web. please watch it. i like it. i think charlotte’s web is a nice movie. maybe tts onli cos i studied d text in secondary school lol. some ’special connection’ thing tt will prolly make me biased towards it. but yes, i think its a nice movie. there were quite a few things that i wanted to blog about. but i haf forgotten what. hmmmmm…………………………..

i haf been having weird dreams lately. weird as in totally illogical!!! like for example, i dreamt that i had course registration and the prescribed electives (3C1) were: Cantonese, Teochew, and Hokkien. like… totally WEIRD!!!! at least it was funny weird, not weird eerie weird lol. i dont know what im talking about.

i have watched Curse of the Golden Flower today. and I have also watched Night at the Museum.

I am not surprised that the Curse of the Golden Flower won best costume and set design and I am also not surprised that it did NOT win the best script. please pardon me but i think Curse of the Golden Flower is the WORST film that Zhang Yimou has ever directed. i am sorely sorely sorely disappointed with this movie. I expected more. i mean, better work from someone like him. the costume and set design were great. really, sincerely. i loved the colour, i loved the set, the scenes and everything. but the whole costume and set design outplayed the storyline by far. there is no balance struck between the script and the design. the design tipped the scales. you will go WOW! at the colour, WOW! at the figures of the people, WOW! at the scenes, WOW! at the scenery, but no wow at where it matters most: the script. i wouldnt mind watching low budget productions of zhang yimou if it means that the quality of the whole entire movie (as a whole) would be back to where it all started. the whole movie was too busy.

anyways, in comparison to Curse, Night at the museum was much better i think. at least there was no major like overtipping of scales on any part (i felt. maybe im just biased — if you expect more, you get disappointed more) anywho, i liked the graphics n the computer effects. (loved Rexy, Jedidiah, Octavius. i like minis. oh! and Dexter and Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt) Robin Williams did good. liked the little boy, Nicky. hated the director with a strong passion which prolly means he acted really well such that i can hate the character lol. clean, clear. good entertainment.

ydae was christmas i did nth lol. gonna watch movies later!!! hoping to catch curse of the golden flower/charlotte’s web/The Holidays/n some other show that i forgot the title to. so yes. im happy. =)) i like watching movies. n im also happy cos we talked things out.

birthday countdown:
4 more days to my bdae. singapore time. lol. im happy. i like bdaes esp. when its mine =)) not that anyone is gonna celebrate with me, but its still my birthday. i get to skip chores when i wanna. =))

gonna be at school for the upcoming three days frm morning to evening. sad. lol.

OH! and my brother invited his 7 poly friends over for mahjong yesterday. but i went out early morning so i din see them but i saw them when i got home (n was quite irritated cos they didnt leave me any bbq food/cake!!!!) my bro’s always said hes got a friend oso in NIE year 1 sem 1. but he mentioned tt his friend’s taking math and english, teaching secondary school so i thot u noe, i onli noe a couple of females taking that combo n no males. n it was SO super coincidental. i saw tt guy n was like: HEY! THAT is ur friend??? hes my classmate for 2/3 modules!! lol. it wldve been more funny than it looks typed out cos everybody was like staring at everybody. haha. mian4 mian4 xiang1 qu4. lol. anyways. yes. ydae was quite nice day.

i’m sorely disappointed. very disappointed. i nvr expected this. choosing to go out with friends instead of accompanying me even tho my parents blatantly invited. this is a big deal. a huge deal.

ive finished watching D.P.S. and i just realised that the Robert Sean Leonard who plays Neil Perry in DPS is playing the role of Dr. James Wilson in House, M.D. like how cool is that? that guy must be nearly 35/36 years old this year (he was 18 in ‘89)

how am i to tell him that i really want him there?
how am i to tell him that sometimes i wish i could ask him to do something for me?
to tell him that, for once, take your actions based on my feelings?

i think i’m a good girlfriend.
i let him do the things he wanna do (but dun dare sae it in case i get angry, hes a great boyfriend)
push him to find his friends when they ask him out. rather than locking him by my side. lets him go for all the camps n chalets.

sometimes, i DO want to be pampered. i’m not as strong as i look.
